Mental Lie Down - Mentales Liegen |
1 part Canarian rum (e.g., "Arehucas Oro")
2 parts Fanta-Lemonade "Lemon" (unfiltered lemonade,
not unlike Schweppes Bitterlemon,
not "silvery" lemonade).
You may also vary with lime juice.

1 spoonful of honey (or more?)
Cut half a citron and apply to the brim
1 straw

| I devised this cocktail in the afternoon of January 4, 2005, in the Bar "Horizonte" on the beach of Sotavento Beach-Club, when I had to decide about choosing rum with honey or rum with lemon (Lemonade). I wanted both, as I always do. Sometimes, it works! |

If you prepare the cocktail, please ask your guests what they assume the name to refer to.
Then listen to what they have to say and tell them that although Werner Gorzalka had laid down mentally, in fact he got up again and went straight on. His stomach told him to. 7 July 2005.
