Additionally, she studied Philosophy for her PhD exams (2001).
She worked at the Cologne Chamber of Industry and Commerce (Department of Foreign Trade and Payment / German-Chinese Business Association) (1992-1994)
and at the University of Bonn (1995-2003).

Britta studied singing (soprano)
with Claudia Gorzalka (Königswinter) and Dorothea Kares (Brühl).
She also took a masterclass with Ingeborg Danz ("Interpretation: Night and Dream");
elocution lessons with Erna Dietrich (Bonn),
and tap dancing classes with Connie Danckwortt, Carolin Gromke, Susi Königstein (Bonn)
Britta has participated in a number of freelance musical productions
(u.v.a.-theater Bonn; Klassische Philharmonie Bonn/Heribert Beissel etc.). Currently performing at the Historische Stadt-Revue by Stattreisen Bonn
